AUTHENTIC CINEMA Signature Edition modification
- Enlarging the buffer capacitors on the linear power supply with best possible capacitors for each voltage output
- Adding special filter capacitors to the linear power supply
- Shielding the linear power supply from the display unit with a 1,5mm thick, massive pure copper plate
- Adding special rubber damping to the capacitors on the linear power supply
- Replace and enlarge all capacitors on the mainboard for all primary and secondary voltage regulators
- Adding special capcitors for the clock power supply
- Adding extra filter to the clock power supply
- EMI shielding all secondary smd clocks
- Adding EMI filter to all necessary power lines
- Damping the bottom of the case
- Damping the multi floor HDD docks
- Adding a massive steel plate with a special highly dampening coumpound material and damping material to the top cover
- Adding our massive aluminium feets with rubber insulating
- Replacing the power inlet with the high end Furutech FI-03 Rhodium Inlet
Signature Edition results compared to standard PlayerPro 8K :
1- The image is cleaner and more stable. There is less noise in the blacks which gives a 3D effect with better respect for the colorimetry especially in the dark parts of the image. The grain of the film seems less artificial and the image has less motion blur. The image is also more defined, including when using AI-PQ and AI-SR image processing.
2- The digital sound is much better and cleaner. The bass is more precise.
3- The sound experience is subtler, smoother and more balanced.
4- The Signature edition sounds much more natural with less harsh highs and more detail in the mids.
5- The soundstage is more defined with more depth and better three-dimensionality.
To benefit from Authentic Cinema modifications, a 250-hour burn-in is recommended.
For optimal performance, a break-in of up to 400 hours may be necessary.

Linear Power Supply with a Robust Toroidal Transformer
The R_volution PlayerPro 8K Signature Edition media player features a high-performance power supply equipped with a Toshiba linear voltage regulator and powered by a massive 81W oxygen-free copper toroidal transformer, ensuring a noise-free signal for enhanced image quality, more accurate color grading, deeper blacks, and superior audio and visual precision. The PlayerPro 8K also uses a low dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator from Lintec. The power inlet has been replaced with the high end Furutech FI-03 Rhodium model.
Best of the Best
Compared to the standard PlayerPro 8K model, the Signature Edition features upgraded capacitors on both the linear PCB and the mainboard. These larger and higher-quality capacitors further enhance the already exceptional picture and sound quality of the standard PlayerPro 8K model. The PlayerPro 8K Signature Edition offers a wider audio space, similar to the PlayerOne 8K Signature. The sound is more fluid and natural. Additionally, the PlayerPro 8K Signature provides finer and broader dynamics with much more structure and audio resolution. At the same time, the listening experience is much more relaxed compared to the standard PlayerPro 8K model.
The picture quality is ultra-smooth and sharp, crystal clear with vibrant colors, slightly better than the PlayerOne 8K Signature Edition.
Overall, the PlayerPro 8K Signature Edition surpasses the PlayerOne 8K Signature Edition and is significantly better than the standard PlayerPro 8K model.
