The secondary S905X4‑K processor includes four ARM A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The R_video user interface benefits from hardware acceleration, delivering enhanced responsiveness and faster video indexing. Dual HDMI Output and Dual HDMI Input

The R_volution PlayerPro 8K TV features dual HDMI outputs: an HDMI Audio‑Only output (version 1.4a) and a main HDMI Audio + Video output (version 2.1a), ensuring perfect compatibility with the latest UHD 8K TVs, projectors, and home theater receivers. Both HDMI outputs benefit from the enhanced TCXO clock for improved stability and precision. The player also includes dual HDMI inputs (bypass), which likewise take advantage of the optimized linear power supply.

HDMI Main 2.1a Audio + Video Output​

Dynamic HDR (HDR dynamic metadata) – HDR data (depth, detail, brightness, contrast, and color gamuts) can now be optimized on a scene-by-scene or even a frame-by-frame basis.

Full 8K 60p HDR video support – UHD 8K resolution offers 4 times as many pixels than 4K and 8 times than Full HD 1080p. 8K format offers the most impressive viewing experience and delivers a smooth and sharp picture. The PlayerPro 8K TV supports both 8K 60p HDR video decoding from video files or streaming content with 8Kp60 HDR video output for the best possible visual experience. The PlayerPro 8K TV can also downscale 8K content to any other resolution for better experience on 1080p and 4K displays. It can also upscale any content to glorious 8K resolution.

SmartTube 8K HDR – Some 8K YouTube streams are encoded in AV1 codec with a much higher bitrate (around 2x) than when playing 4K streams (50 Mbps in AV1 quality corresponds to an even higher bitrate of VP9 or HEVC) . This significantly improves picture quality compared to older media players that can only play 4K VP9/HEVC, included for users using 1080p or 4K displays.

Flicker-free framerate/resolution switching (FFRS) – R_volution PlayerPro 8K TV offers advanced flicker-free feature for automatic framerate and resolution switching, which performs video mode switching before the start of file playback (rather than after) removing the unpleasant flickering when launching a video playback, resulting a better home theater experience.

A TCXO (Temperature-Compensated Crystal Oscillator) clock in a multimedia player significantly enhances home cinema experiences by providing exceptional timing accuracy, ensuring audio and video remain perfectly synchronized. Compared to standard clocks, a TCXO reduces jitter and maintains consistent performance across varying temperatures, resulting in a superior audio-visual quality that's crucial for an immersive viewing experience, especially in high-end home theaters. Unlike oscillators used by other brands, the R_volution TCXO uses a 24MHz clock rate, a perfect multiple of 48kHz in audio and 24Hz in video.
